Aside from the issuance of passports and visas, the Embassy also provides the following consular services:

1. registration of Filipinos in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives;
2. authentication of documents (notarials);
3. reporting of the birth of a child born of Filipino parent/s in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives;
4. solemnization of marriage between two Filipinos;
5. reporting of the marriage between two Filipinos, or between a Filipino and a foreigner, solemnized in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives;
6. reporting of the death of Filipino nationals in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives; and
7. sealing of caskets for forwarding to and burial in the Philippines.
